What's it like working for IBM?

I'm interested in finding out a bit about IBM globally (so answers welcome from all over the world!):

- How does IBM measure their staff's performance?
- How are salary packages (remuneration) structured for client facing and non client facing staff?
- How and when are bonuses paid?
- What do IBM do (if anything) to retain their staff?
